AEY Legal is an Istanbul (Kartal)-based law firm founded by Attorney Abdullah Erkam Yılmaz. The firm provides legal consultancy, compliance management, contractual structuring, dispute resolution, and litigation services to individual and corporate clients on legal matters of both national and international character. Working on the understanding that legal practice is not limited to resolving disputes once they arise, AEY Legal aims to address its clients' activities holistically in terms of legal risk and to provide the legal support they need at the earliest possible stage.

Our team approaches the law not only through statutory provisions and case law, but also by evaluating the dynamics of the client's sector, business model, commercial needs, and technological infrastructure. Our experience with the entrepreneurship ecosystem, digital platforms, and technology-focused companies in particular contributes to assessing legal issues in data protection, information technology law, e-commerce, digital content, and intellectual property together with their technical and commercial dimensions. Legal problems are thus addressed not only in theoretical terms, but with attention to their practical effects and the consequences they may have for the client's business.

Disputes are resolved through the courts, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution methods appropriate to the nature of the matter, with options evaluated for managing the dispute as effectively and sustainably as possible under the law. In matters of an international nature, applicable law, jurisdiction, foreign elements, and the nature of the dispute are taken into account, and international arbitration, along with individual applications to the European Court of Human Rights where the requirements are met, are assessed from a legal standpoint. Each matter is handled within its own specific factual and legal circumstances, and the legal course to be followed is determined accordingly.

A significant part of AEY Legal's approach consists of preventive law and legal risk management. In this context, importance is placed not only on managing the outcomes of an existing dispute, but also on identifying contractual, corporate, and operational processes that could give rise to risk before a dispute arises.
